Wildflowers for the Boro
CLIENT: LOVE FOR the boro | december 2020 | ~13’ x 7’ | acrylic paint & oil-based paint markers
Woodland poppies, Labrador tea, and dogwood are some of the local wildflowers I painted for Love for the Boro, a public art initiative in downtown Peterborough.
Love for the Boro is a community led and supported initiative, born out of Neighbourhood Love. Organized by Julii Mcmillan and Dawn Pond, local artists have been transforming vacant storefront windows in downtown Peterborough into expressions of love for their town. I was super grateful to be invited as a guest artist in this project! A special thank you to @downtownptbo @firstfridayptbo and to @duluxpaintspeterborough for generously donating the paint.
*This mural can be found on a storefront window in downtown Peterborough. You can check it out at 221 Hunter Street, soon to be Plants Goals Headquarters.
